The event was interrupted by hundreds of demonstrators, and Bannon, scheduled to travel that evening, informed Jeffrey Epstein in an email: "Activists delayed my talk I doubt I can make the flight we are heading to the airport". Epstein responded: "There. Is a Gulf Air that leaves at 9:50 with a stop in Bahrain". Bannon answered: "You are an excellent helper". These messages were released on Wednesday alongside more than 20,000 pages from the records of Epstein, the deceased convicted sex offender. The disclosure by the House oversight committee contains an text conversation where Bannon's identity is withheld. Media outlets has been able to confirm his involvement by cross-referencing the dates, occurrences, and locations referenced. For example, Epstein talks about chartering a jet from Scotland for the unnamed individual in the chat, and offers praise their "address at Oxford". Bannon participated in the News Xchange conference on 14 November, and delivered the speech at the Oxford Union on November 16. Bannon, who faces no allegations of any misconduct, did not reply on the request for comment. Epstein's Assurance to Bannon Bannon was one of the president's closest advisers in the run up to the 2016 election and during the initial phase of his presidency, but stepped down from the White House in August 2017. He has admitted he was making a documentary about Epstein prior to his passing and reportedly has around 15 hours of footage. In a recording of his show recently, he said: "We're going to publish the series, the multi-part documentary, in the coming year - early next year." But the recently disclosed documents indicate Bannon's relationship with Epstein went further than being his biographer, with the disgraced financier occasionally seeming to act like a personal assistant. A few days before the exchange in which Epstein appeared to have arranged a charter jet for Bannon, Epstein remarked: "how does it feel to have the most highly paid booking agent in history ". Bannon thanked him: "U r quite capable assistant", to which Epstein responded "Therapies. Not Included". Discussing a visit to "Abu Dhabi" in another message, Epstein told Bannon: "I'll make sure you're well looked after." British Affairs Discussed in Messages The published communications also reveal Bannon and Epstein discussing British political matters in 2018. On the day of his address at the Oxford Union, Bannon texted Epstein: "I became involved in the Brexit issue this day with Nigel, Johnson and Mogg." Then, in what seems like a allusion to Theresa May, the embattled British leader at the period, he added: "They are trying to proceed. may today / tomorrow…" Epstein suggested Bannon: "In my view staying as long as you can in the UK. Best-- so others get the commitment of your follow through." Soon after, Epstein asked: "Can Theresa May survive". Bannon replied: "It seems unlikely BUT the people here have little courage" and added "Boris ; Gove; Rees Mogg; Davis - somebody has to take charge". Theresa May was eventually removed in 2019 after withstanding multiple attempts of lack of support in December 2018. A spokesman for Reform UK told the BBC: "Farage has not been in a gathering with Bannon, Rees-Mogg and Boris Johnson." And there is nothing to suggest such a meeting occurred. The US House of Representatives will decide soon on whether the Department of Justice should release all its files related to its investigation into Epstein, who died in prison in that year. Attention in Epstein's associations with powerful figures was renewed recently after the publication of more than 20,000 documents from his archives. A portion of those mentioned Trump, who has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing. The leader was a friend of Epstein's for a long time, but says they fell out in the 2000s, a couple of years before Epstein was first arrested.
