🔗 Share this article Former Doctor Accused of Sexual Assault Allegations Against 38 Individuals in His Care Prosecutors report that a ex- physician now faces charges for performing assaults involving 38 individuals who were patients. The Serious Allegations Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham is accused of numerous sexual offences – including some against minors under the age of thirteen – between 2017 to 2021. A senior prosecutor commented, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to support a thorough and intricate police inquiry, carefully reviewing the available evidence to determine that there is sufficient evidence to proceed to trial and that it is in the interest of justice.” Scope of the Police Inquiry These allegations come after what police described as a “detailed inquiry” into reported assaults at two hospitals: a hospital in Stoke-on-Trent and Russells Hall hospital. The defendant will appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th. List of Charges Prosecutors said the 45 sexual offences include: 15 counts of sexual assault. Seventeen counts of penetrative assault. Nine counts of assault on a minor under thirteen. 3 counts of assault of a child under 13 by penetration. 1 count of attempting to assault by penetration. Authorities have asked anyone with concerns to contact the investigating team.
