The head of state conducted a visit to speak to national troops in the Pokrovsk area on the start of the week. The president confirmed that he consulted warriors at the military base of the first unit of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, which is leading defense efforts in the Dobropillya zone, an urban center approximately 12 miles from the city.

Volatile Circumstances in the Region

Updated analysis from a Ukrainian project indicated that Russian forces had pushed further into the city and surrounding areas, though a large portion was not fully held by either side. The situation remains critical, with reports indicating that invading units were establishing defenses and building up positions in various sectors.

Opposition armies are pushing forward in the Pokrovsk front and seem to be functioning with increasing comfort within urban Pokrovsk.

Analysts observed that national troops had recaptured substantial territory of a opposition incursion in the Dobropillya front, on the eastern edge of the Pokrovsk effort.

National Drone Strikes Deep Inside Russian Territory

Ukrainian long-range drones struck a factory approximately 1,300km inside Russian territory at the location. Local officials announced a detonation at the industrial complex that caused its water treatment facility to be compromised, adding that the reason for the blast was undetermined.
